Associate or Senior Associate, Transaction Services Tax

Are you a Tax professional with a passion for exceptional client service and a strong background in Transaction Services Tax? We are looking for experienced Associates or Senior Associates to join our team! This role would help with executions of tax due diligence for M&A transactions and driving internal execution of providing advice to clients on tax implications. Commitments 

• Lead day-to-day execution of tax due diligence for M&A transactions, including drafting of deliverables, review of data, and internal process to completion.
• Drive internal execution of providing advice to clients on tax implications related to deal structures, financing, and post-acquisition integration.
• Assist in preparation of tax models showing after-tax cash proceeds for sellers and impacts to buyers for various structuring options.
• Assist in performing attribute analysis including E&P studies, stock basis studies, Section 382 analyses, etc.
• Assist in analyzing the tax treatment of transaction costs incurred by clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver holistic solutions to clients.
• Assist with managing multiple clients and engagements including managing client expectations, ensuring client satisfaction, meeting deadlines, and leading change efforts effectively.

Required: 

• CPA or JD preferred or on path to obtain
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in M&A tax consulting within a public accounting firm.
• Eagerness to grow knowledge of federal, state, and international tax laws.
• Base knowledge of tax due diligence, structuring, and compliance.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with background in tax research.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Initiative to learn, ask questions, operate in a fast-paced environment, challenge the status quo, develop strong relationships internally, and flexibility are required and keys to success.

Estimated Salary Range:   $60,000 - $120,000*
